The Final Invitation: Catalmilyst

This short story takes place during the battle between Catalmilyst, the Black Deity and Yuki Nobura, the Snow Aspect. Written in a joint effort by team writers Yuki and Waris.
Do note that it is incomplete. Sorry! _____________________________________________________
Part I: " Encounter with demon " start. _____________________________________________________
The young male landed on the barren surface of the island, his long blue hair, which had pink streaks in them, shimmered and flowed freely under the intense wind. His feminine face glanced at the surrounding hills and volcanic ground. The wind was strangely growing stronger, and a cluster of dark clouds were already forming.

" It is coming... ", the young teenager muttered under his breath. In the distance, a castle was slowly rising from a dormant volcano, shaking away sand and soil from its walls as it made its ascend. The fortress was a evil and ominous abode to be. The handsome male immediately turned his head, staring at the new addition to the environment.

The ground trembled as a fierce roar resounded from the ominous abode. A figure with large wings emerged from it, and was flying towards him with a speed that made the figure seem to blur. In a matter of seconds, the newcomer had approached Yuki. " Hahaha... ", a deep and evil voice rumbled from its jaw. _____________________________________________________
Part I:" Encounter with demon " end.
Part II: " Clash " start. _____________________________________________________

" Hahaha... ", a deep and evil voice rumbled from its jaw. The creature tilted its head up. It was a massive black dragon, with wings that blotted out the heavens. Its massive jaw housed sharp and huge conical teeth, enough to rip a Titan apart with ease. Most mere mortals would have cowered or even fainted at the sight of such a evil monster, but Yuki stood undaunted, his face remaining emotionless.

The dragon opened its jaws, and spoke again, " I knew you were going to come. You really are a brave young adventurer. A pity we do not have you on our side. Nevermind, I, Catalmilyst, will wipe you right off the surface of RaChaos. Hahahahaha!!! "

" Tsk, tsk! You think far too highly of yourself. Perhaps you have never faced a REAL adventurer? ", Yuki smirked, his face showing a slight hint of the Devil, before reverting back to his girlish cat-like face.

" You dare challenge me? Hah! A puny one such as yourself will not even a chance against me! ", the great dragon who was called Catalmilyst bellowed.

" Then we'll just have to see about it. "

Clang! Sounds of power echoed around the hills and volcanoes, as metal and claw clashed. Yuki dashed forth and delivered a strong attack that could fell a dragon. But this one, was no ordinary dragon. The black beast smacked his blade away and snapped its jaws at the teenager, who backed away to avoid getting ripped apart and eaten. _____________________________________________________
Part II: " Clash " ended.
Part III: " Clash II " start. _____________________________________________________

Many parts of the island was ruptured with energy dancing around it as this battle continued on. Yuki knew his stamina was inferior to the massive dragon's, who seemed to be toying with him.

" Getting tired, puny one? Haha!!! Come on, you know you can do much better than that! ", Catalmilyst bellowed.

Respond to the dragon's challenge, Yuki decided to unleash another tier of his power. Not caring for the side-effects of Pure Shinera, the young male released his cloak without hesitation. With his elegant dragon blade in hand, he charged forward, rushing back into battle with new vigour.

Catamilyst, unleashing its crimson form, roared with rage. Yuki readied his blade for the attack, letting it up right as the monster slashed forward. With the speed augment granted to him by the red cloak, which was burning with more intensity than before, he dashed to the side. Yuki then released another powered-up strike with his glowing blade.

The massive dragon shrugged off his attack easily despite the power. and launched forth a stream of blazing flame and rock. The projectiles sizzled as they shot out for their target. However, Yuki quick evaded them, strafing to the side, as his charged up his gun. He shot, the bright energy bullets rushing past air, cutting it like grass.

The dragon instinctively used its right arm to block the attack, ending in a display of sparks as scales flew off his hide.

" This monster is strong! ", he frowned inwardly, as another burst of energy came from his gun. The beast simply shrugged it off like dust,as it flew towards Yuki with ferocity. The dragon released lines of Shinera from its claws. Yuki, with the speed enchancement, was able to hold up his blade in time, as Shinera and metal clashed in a shower of sparks and colours.

This seemingly never ending battle continued on for some time, as both of them continued exhancing blows, until they began to tire out. Yuki activated his bloodline, intent on finishing it as soon as possible, his vision warping from the usual palette of colours to one of a red world. The first form immediately awoke, as a triangle-like symbol formed on Catalmilyst's head." Thats the weakness! " Yuki thought, rushing back in to continue his fighting against the massive dragon. _____________________________________________________
Part III: " Clash II " ended.
Part IV: " Heat of the battle " start. _____________________________________________________

Catalmilyst noticing that Yuki was rushing to its weak spot, fell into defense mode right away, and let out a wave of strong sound waves. " Raaaaar! " Yuki immediately shielded himself by summoning up his wings, right before the deafening roar slammed into him.

Yuki was pushed a considerable distance, but his power and dexterity reduced the damage wrecked.He back-flipped into fighting stance, readying his blade for the final clash.

The great dragon, seeing that Yuki is rushing towards it, prepared another an attack to counter it. They clashed, each emitting great power. The clash sent both opponents flying back rather far. Yuki hit the ground with a resounding crack, but stood up, ready for more.

Although it was weakened greatly, the massive black dragon continued on the battle. Yuki dashed forward again, his eyes concentrated on the symbol that was formed. The dragon knocked him away with a roar, and attempted to fly off. _____________________________________________________
Part IV: " Heat of the battle " ended.
Part V: " Final clash " start. _____________________________________________________
Yuki jumped and swung down his blade. the sheer power erupting from it flinging the dying dragon back down. Out of the blue, an arrow came whistling through the battlefield. The porjectile hit Catalmilyst square to its chest. The massive dragon spread out his wings, covering the nearly the entire sky, but the tiny arrow was enough to provide ample distraction.

But Yuki, having noticed the current situation, took his chance and swung his blade down, smashing right into Catal's skull. It cut into the head of the black dragon. The blade still continued on despite the toughness of the dragon scales,as the sword's sharpness was enhanced by the Pure Shinera. Finally, the blade came to a standstill.

The dragon let out a dying roar as it fell to the ground.The black beast of destruction was defeated.The dark clouds covering the heavens scattered, and the energy around the island ceased to be. A divine glow immediately fell down, shining on the island.The darkness was gone, the light has come, the battle is finally over. _________________________________________________________________
Part V: " Final clash " ended. _________________________________________________________________

Looking around, Yuki allowed himself a quick glance of the dragon's huge head.There layed its magnificent horns, battered and worn but still sharp from the battle. Yuki whipped out his carving blade, and began to saw it off.After tremendous effort, the horn broke off and dropped to the ground.The horn shimmered brightly, reflecting sunlight to Yuki's eyes." These horns could really make some tough weapons there. ", he smiled to himself.

"I wonder where is the half-Catal egg after I defeated it..."Yuki wondered as he thought of the prize. From the heavens,floated down the egg-like black Shinera.Yuki,raised his hands and claimed what he was here for.

Yuki looked back to the cliffs north of the castle, wondering who had let loose that important arrow.His red eyes, which had a certain righteous aura in them, could make out a figure on the cliffs.

The man, flipped his hand through his snow white hair.He was a male of about 20 yearsHis bones cracked from stillness as he jumped down from the great wall.Shinzuki landed nimbly on his feet with a soft "thump".

"Hey, how are you? We haven't met since the last battle huh ?" Shinzuki said while giving a smile" Heh. ", he smirked Yuki turned back, giving a glare, replied, " Its been a long time, take or give a couple of months. "Yuki sheathed his carving dagger, and let loose a deep sigh. " I was looking for the Catal, and I found it. But my teammate ran off... "Yuki frowned at that last statment."Why did you come?", he asked with a tired voice.

Shinzuki,crossed his arms, replied "I was asking where you were,as I heard you would be in Rachaos City,some people said you have went up into the heavenly castle to challenge the mythical dragon." Shinzuki continued, "I though you were digging your own grave."

" This is a mythical dragon? ", he replied as a curious cat smile came to his face, " Tell me about it. "

"This dates back when before any dragons were born." _______________________________________________________________

oh guys, so glad that i finally got the chance and the will to create this post cuz i'm sort of tired after school each day what with all those homework... are you all able to cope with school life? i joined NP or NPCC as my CCA and my ma'ams are nice:D
what CCA did all of you join? can someone try to like tag.
Life's great with the exception of inability to cope with homework ( I'm rushing homework in school every morning or almost)
